Keiro Kai Luncheon
Our YBA helped out at the annual Keiro Kai luncheon on November 19. Members helped serve tea, bentos, refreshments, and stayed to clean up. We also encouraged and supported our Dharma School students by wearing hats and dancing when they performed.
YBA Holiday Party
Our YBA holiday party was organized by our YBA advisors. The party was on December 7th and unlike most of our YBA activities where only members are invited, members’ families also attended. We did various
activities, ate dinner, built the hondo out of gingerbread and had a gift exchange.
Mochitsuki
YBA members helped with the Temple’s Annual Mochitsuki Fundraiser. Members helped out with a variety of tasks during the day like shaping, take out, pounding, and being a cooling runner.
