63rd JR. YBA STATE CONVENTION
Megan Nakagawa recently attended this virtual convention hosted by United of Maui and the Hawai’i Federation of Jr. YBAs. She says, “I was able to gain insight about how their YBAs are structured and how they run their meetings. I also enjoyed learning about their events throughout the year and meeting high schoolers from other YBA groups. We learned several Maui Minyo Kai Obon dances and heard from guest speaker Rep. Troy Hashimoto”.

I recently attended this virtual conference and enjoyed being able to meet and reconnect with other Buddhist youth through fun workshops and icebreakers.
