YBA Spaghetti Dinner
This year’s Spaghetti Dinner took place on March 1. The fundraiser supports YBA activities such as conferences and activities, and enables us to go on our Maui trip this summer. Additionally, we had BINGO and a lucky draw during the event.
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work from this year’s Spaghetti Dinner Chairperson Emi Hirabayashi, YBA members and advisors. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and flexibility during these past few months. We would also like to thank the Sangha for supporting the YBA by attending the Spaghetti Dinner .
Coast District Conference
Our YBA will be co-hosting with San Jose YBA to put on this year’s Coast District Conference on March 22 at the San Jose
Betsuin. Our own YBA member, Bradley Aquino, and Miya Kosakura from San Jose, have been working very hard to make sure this event goes smoothly for all attendees.
Babysitting Fundraiser
We introduced our newest fundraiser on February 15. The YBA provided games, food, and other activities to 14 kids who attended. The purpose of this fundraiser was to give parents and guardians a break for a night, while we watched over and entertained their children. It was a complete success and we are already in the process of organizing our next babysitting fundraiser, sometime in April.
