Seniors Activities & Crafts Program News

Although the Senior Activities and Craft has few news to report, we wish mostly to stay in touch with all of you.  We hope we can once again join into our once-a-week Thursday meeting.  For our safety in mind, the Temple has decided not to open the Temple activities no sooner than first of the 2022.  In the meantime, stay well and maintain your good health. You are all missed.

Wednesday: Sing Along

Every other Wednesday, we will bring back Sing-Along.  Not every week.  Here’s the proposed schedule:

  • December 1 and 15

Thank you to Susan Yuen for programming this event with assistance from Sterling Makishima, Teri Hirotsu and Amy Arakaki.

Wish to acknowledge Kinji Ushiba for starting this Sing-Along during our Thursday Senior Activities.  Mark the dates on your calendar and please join us and sing together. A good way to stay in touch.

Thursday: Taiko

We will continue the Taiko program every Thursday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.  We thank our instructors, Susan Yuen and Linda Uyechi, for their patience in giving the Taiko lessons via Zoom.  Please join us for it is never too late to enjoy Taiko.  For more information, call Reiko Tsuchida.

Cookbook for Sale

The Senior Activities Cook Book is still available and can be purchased at the Temple office or through the Senior Committee members.  The sale price is still at $15.
