SENIOR ACTIVITIES
Thursday, June 11: Another day of BINGO is planned. Enjoy the day with your friends. Lunch will be served at 11:30 am with BINGO following at 12:30 pm. There are prizes to be won.
Also, June 11 will be our last day of our Senior Activities program before we take a summer break. We will start up on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Mark this date on your calendar. Have a safe and healthy summer break. You will all be missed. Looking forward to seeing you back in September. Stay well.
Senior Activities Committee
We would like to welcome David Ujita to the Senior Activities Committee. He will be a great member and leader in our group.
In the past, Julie Ushiba has been leading us in our rhythm exercise every Thursday. She asked David to take charge of her exercise class and asked to relieve her. David agreed and has promoted his exercise class to a popular chair exercise that is a very easy exercise for our Seniors. Even Seniors using their walkers have enjoyed this chair exercise, a simple healthy technique for our Seniors. He keeps reminding us that inhaling and exhaling is very important in maintaining good healthy lungs. We are all enjoying this and staying healthy.
Thank you, David.
Obon Craft Booth
Jeanne Ohara is asking for donations for the Obon Craft Booth. If you have any useful items such as dishes, toys, books, any homemade craft and etc., they are welcome.
On Thursdays through June11, we are in the Sangha Hall and you can drop off from 9 am to 12 noon. Otherwise, you can drop them off at the Temple office and mark it for the Obon Craft Booth. For more infor- mation, call Jeanne Ohara.
Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
