Seniors Activities & Crafts Program News – January 2025

Senior Activities:

As the holiday season is soon approaching us, our Senior Activities Committee wishes to extent to you a Safe and Healthy Holiday Season.

We plan to have some interesting program for next year, 2025.  Continue to stay well and enjoy the Holidays.

Senior Activities

January 9, 2025:  The Senior Activities program will resume on January 9, 2025.  Please mark this date on your calendar.  Looking forward to seeing you all another good year.

All Activities program starts at 9:00 am and ends at 12 noon

January 16, 2025:  We will have Christine Takamoto as our guest speaker.  Her topic will be on “Mental Health.”  She will discuss how mental health practice can improve quality of life, reduce stress and further foster emotional resilience among seniors.  Please join us. 

Before the presentation, please join us for lunch between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.  Everyone is welcome.

February 20, 2025:  We will have guest speaker Sharmin Sultana, a Senior Program Manager of “Breathe California.”  She will do a presentation about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).  Learn about keeping our lungs healthy.

New Committee Member

We have added a new member to our committee.  Welcome Christine Takamoto to our committee.  We are glad she agreed to join us.  She will be a great asset to our program and we welcome her.

Senior Cookbook

The Senior Cookbook is still available.  It can be purchased at the Temple office or through our committee member.  The price is still $10.  Makes a wonderful gift.

Senior Craft and All Activities:

The Craft and all Activities program starts at 9:00 am and ends at 12 noon.

During Senior Activities:

A light refreshment is provided that includes coffee and tea.  Everyone is welcome.
