Seniors Activities & Crafts Program News – January 2024

Thursday, January 11, 2024:  Mark this date on your calendar.  It is the 2024 start up for the Senior Activities Program.

Thursday, January 18:  We have our own Temple member Joyce Okumura-Lee doing a presentation on “Succulents.”  She will share “grow and care tips” of this Delightful Plant Family.  If you have some succulents that you want to share or swap cuttings, bring a few in wrapped paper towels.

Lunch will also be provided at 11:30 am and the presentation is at 12:30 pm.  Please join us and learn about growing and keeping your plants healthy.  You’re all welcome.

Thursday, February 15:  Jeff Sato, another one of our active Temple members, will share his expertise on Safety, mainly to focus on CPR.  If we are to help someone in distress, it will be comforting to know you can help with the current and up-to-date practice.

Lunch will also be provided at 11:30 am and Jeff’s presentation will begin at 12:30 pm.  Don’t miss this valuable information.  Everyone is welcome.

Wednesday, March 27:  We have a day trip planned to Sky River Casino.  We will be taking sign up in January.  More information will be provided.  Sign up with any Committee member, don’t be left out.

Cookbooks are still available at the Temple Office or can be purchased through any committee member. The price is $10, which makes for a nice gift.

The Craft program starts at 9:00am to 12:00pm.
