Seniors Activities & Crafts Program News – December 2022

Every Thursday

We are finally getting our plans back in order after we reopened on Thursday, September 29, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.  Every Thursday, the plans are the same with Line Dancing, Taiko, Sing Along and Exercise.  We have two groups that plays cards: Hana, a Japanese card game, Keo Hirota in charge and a special Rummy game.

Every Thursday, we ask everyone to sign in, include your phone number, and wear a mask.

New Committee Member

We are glad to introduce our newest committee member.  Please welcome Kay Tachibana. She graciously agreed to join our committee.


November 17 was our last Senior Activities program for 2022, for the holidays are soon approaching.  We provided lunch and BINGO afterwards.  With each game, we had prizes for the winners. 

Once again, we welcome everyone to join our Senior Activities program.  Bring a friend and make many new friends.

The New Year

On Thursday, January 12, 2023, we will start up, after the New Year.

Senior Craft:

The craft will start at the opening of the Senior program, Thursday, 9:00 am to 12 noon. Jeanne Ohara,Toshiko Uyehara and Emi Fukushima are in charge of the Craft area.  We are hopeful Debbie Kitani will also find time to offer her expertise in knitting and crocheting, when she finds time to join us.

Cookbook Now $10

Our Senior Cookbooks are still available at the office or can be purchased through our committee members. The price is now $10, which makes for a nice gift.
