Hello everyone, my name is Allyson Itow and I am the 2023-24 YBA President. I am very excited for this upcoming year and am looking forward to all the events that YBA will experience.
YBA Cabinet Meeting
YBA held its first cabinet meeting on September 9 to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the cabinet and to plan for the upcoming year. We talked about the agenda, came up with an icebreaker for the first meeting, and improvements for the year.
First YBA General Meeting for 2023-2024
YBA held its first General Meeting of the year on September 10 in the High School classroom. We welcomed new members, welcomed back returning members, and reviewed the events and fundraisers we have planned for the upcoming year. Overall, the first meeting went really well and was a great start to the upcoming year.
YBA Cabinet Installation
The YBA Cabinet Installation took place on Sangha Day Picnic during service.
Sangha Day Picnic
On Sangha Day Picnic, YBA helped run children’s games such as water balloon toss, relay races, and other outdoor games. We also had YBA members help out with arm painting as well as running the 50/50 Raffle table. It was a great way for YBA to connect with other members in the Sangha and everyone had a fun time.
