Hello Everyone, my name is Jillian Higa and I am the 2024-25 YBA President. I am very excited for this upcoming year and am looking forward to all the events that YBA will experience.
First YBA General Meeting for 2024-2025
YBA held its first General Meeting of the year, in the High School classroom. We welcomed new members, welcomed back returning members, and reviewed the events and fundraisers we have planned for the upcoming year. Overall, the first meeting went really well and was a great start to the upcoming year.
Sangha Day Picnic
On Sangha Day Picnic, YBA helped run children’s games such as water balloon toss and a fun scavenger hunt. We also had YBA members help out with arm painting as well as running the 50/50 Raffle Table. It was a great way for YBA to connect with other members in the Sangha and everyone had a fun time.
Parents Meeting
YBA had an informational parent meeting, held in the Temple Board Room. This allowed the parents of all the YBA members to learn what responsibilities and activities their kids will be a part of.
