The Board recently approved funds that the VISION Committee in conjunction with the Facilities Planning Committee (FPC) requested to work to develop conceptual plans for the renovation of Sangha Hall. While this does NOT mean fully executable plans are imminent, it DOES mean that we are continuing to work with our valued architect/construction partners to move forward and begin to develop plans to renovate the MVBT Master Campus. As these plans develop towards a more concrete form, we will have opportunities to share them with the Sangha.
It is a long process and the VISION Committee thanks everyone who had participated in our Focus Groups back in 2021 and 2022, as these ideas and concepts will be folded into an initial idea of what potential renovations may be possible within the confines of the financial projections that the Strategic Financial Planning Committee (SFPC) has been working on.
In particular, I am deeply grateful for the work by everyone involved on the VISION, FPC and SFPC has done and continues to do in order to keep moving forward on Master Campus Planning.
