First and foremost, we are grateful that you are a part of our Mountain View Buddhist Temple Sangha community and are especially appreciative for your continuing financial support through membership. As you know, your membership comes with specific benefits to you. Your dues are also critical for the long-term sustainability of our Temple, as they support a portion of the rapidly increasing costs of the day-to-day operations and expenses for maintaining the Temple, our programs, and services.
MEMBERSHIP CHANGES FOR 2025
To help offset the increase in our expenses, we are increasing Membership Dues 10% this year. Although we have not raised dues for the last three years, our expenses increased 18% in 2022 and 7% in 2023 and are projected to increase an additional 5% in 2024.
Thank you for your understanding, for your continuing membership, and for your ongoing donations (of both time and money) throughout the year, so that we can continue to center the Dharma in our lives together. Above all, thank you for your continued investment in the Mountain View Buddhist Temple.
