Daisy Scout
Our Daisy will earn the Use Resources Wisely petal by learning about the “7 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Refuse, Repair, Recycle, Repurpose, and Recover.” For fun, she will make a kokeshi doll from a recycled snack container.
Junior Scouts
The Junior girls will begin preparations to earn their Bronze Award, the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. The girls will team up to make a difference in their community; they will learn leadership skills, and see how small actions can make a big difference!
Padma Scouts
Our Padma Scouts will each be submitting an article about their interview of a female Buddhist Reverend. Be sure to look for Kurumi’s interview of Reverend Yukiko Motoyoshi in this edition of the Echo.
