The MVBT Care Package Committee is connecting with our senior members.
Everyone likes to stay in touch with their friends and families by enjoying a visit, sharing a meal, laughing at bad jokes, or simply chatting on the phone. During these current times, it can be difficult to maintain contact, especially with the valued senior members of our Temple.
In July, the Care Package committee delivered packages to our most senior members and were greeted with a friendly smile and very appreciative of the treats they received in the care package. Each month the Care Package committee will be providing monthly messages from our leaders, updates on what’s happening at the Temple, Buddhist and Japanese stories and quotes, snacks, and puzzles and delivering them to the Temple’s senior members.

If you would like to support the Care Package committee’s efforts, please donate to the care package committee. There are two ways to donate.
- You can donate at the Temple website. Look in “Donate Now.”
- You can send a check to the Temple office made out to “MVBT” with a note “Care Package.”
