Guess what? Your favorite Temple activity is right around the corner –
MOCHITSUKI!
Everyone young, old, and in-between is welcome to join in preparing and/or purchasing our delicious, sweet handmade rice mochi!
There are a few changes to note this year:
- Komochi, minimum order is 2 lbs. for $15
- Okasane, ½ lb is $6
- To be more ECO-Friendly, containers will be 100% compostable fiber.
- No plastic carry bags will be provided, so you must provide your own bag just as you would when grocery shopping.
- All orders will be done:
- Online. An online order link will be available in early November.
- Paper version. This is for those without email or computer access.
To ensure enough help on that Sunday, we are setting up two work shifts:
- 6:00 am to 10:00 am and
- 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
We will send out a link for signups in November and will mail out paper forms to those without emails.
- All orders will be due by: Monday, November 25, 2024
