Obon Game Booth: Flip-the-Brick
Thank you to everyone who helped in the Flip the Brick (aka Shooting Gallery) booth at Obon this year. A huge thank you to Hideki Hirabayashi for organizing and operating the booth throughout both days of Obon!
New School Year and Welcoming New Members
Now that the new school year is upon us, Miroku will hold its first general meeting on Sunday, September 15 at noon (in the Sangha Hall, Pancake Room). All middle school students in 6th through 8th Grade are welcome to join. At this meeting, we will give a brief introduction as to what Miroku is all about and what we do.
While the students have their meeting, we will have a brief parent meeting to share more about Miroku and our plans for the year.
Pizza Lunch After Meeting
After the September meeting, we will host a pizza lunch for Miroku members and their families.
