During the April meeting, we started with the usual opening gassho.
Old & New Business
This then led to the old business that was the Alma Bonita Animal Rescue (ABAR) presentation and work on cards to sell. With the old business out of the way, we transitioned to the new business. This included the Hanamatsuri service, the Alta Mesa cleanup with ABA, the ABAR presentation, and the bake sale after Mother’s Day service.
Guest Appearances: Michael Jordon & Gordan Ramsay
Those last two are very important, you see. Not only will there be a talk from Miroku and the middle school class, but Michael Jordan himself may or may not make a guest appearance. This will happen on Sunday, April 20.
Not only this, but on May 11, there will be a Mother’s Day Bake Sale to raise money for ABAR. This will highlight baked goods with a guest appearance of Gordan Ramsay himself, may or may not happen. The only way to find out if these rumors are true, is if you attend these services and buy something.
Meeting Almost Ending
After discussing these exciting, breathtaking, and exhilarating topics, it was just hitting 12:30 pm. Which implied it was time for HOUSE KEEPING. There was another thrilling discussion about the May Echo article. And the man who will be writing the Nobel Prize winning article is, Garrett.
With the usual business out of the way, it was time to give attention to the AEDs. The AEDs were checked with precision.
With everything wrapped up, and a final Gassho, the meeting ended until the next one on May 4 in the YBA Conference Room.
