Dana Project
We talked about the generosity of our Sangha with our Dana project, where we raised $1,300 in cash donations plus donated items. We read a letter from the Palo Alto Humane Society thanking us for our hard work and explaining how the funds would be spent.
AED Check, etc
We also talked about our service to the Temple and checking the AEDs every month.
Obon Weekend
Next, we discussed the upcoming Obon weekend and chairing the Shooting Gallery booth.
New Advisors
Finally, we introduced our two new Miroku advisors, Christine Hirabayahi and Kim Tsuchida, who will be joining Janell Tao next year.
We ended our meeting with the monthly AED checks and wished everyone a Happy Summer!
