For our November Miroku meeting, we started with an ice breaker to continue getting to know each other, especially our new members. Then, we went over signups for the monthly Echo article. We signed up for roles for chairing the Bodhi Day service and discussed how we will help at Keiro Kai and Mochi Tsuki.
Dana Service Project
We continued work on our Dana Service Project with the 6th – 8th grade Dharma School class. We made buttons and marketing signs for our button sale on Dec. 3 to benefit the Maui fire victims.
We also went around Temple grounds to complete the AED checks.
Miroku will have our holiday party on Saturday, December 2, in the YBA Hall, the time is TBD.
Instead of a December meeting, we will be hosting our button sales after Sunday Service on December 3.
