On June 16, six 9th Grade students and two teachers from the German International School of Silicon Valley (GISSV) in Mountain View visited the Mountain View Buddhist Temple. GISSV provides an outstanding academic program for students from preschool to high school and prides themselves on their international outlook and welcome families from all cultural and language backgrounds.
During their visit to MVBT, Rev. Mukojima provided an overview of the principles of Shin Buddhism, the history of the founding by Shinran Shonin, the aspects of the onaijin and answered questions from the students.
They were invited to attend our Obon Festival and Bazaar in July.
