No Dharma School on April 19
There will be no Dharma School classes on Sunday, April 19, due to the Federation of Dharma School Teachers’ Leagues (FDSTL) Conference at the Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple. This year, Curt Fukuda, Debby Inenaga, Carol Yonemura, Joan Aoki and Brent Izutsu will be attending on behalf of Mountain View Buddhist Temple’s Dharma School.

Hanamatsuri
Hanamatsuri Service and after service activities were held on Sunday, April 12.
The high school class hosted a trivia game during service, and the younger classes shared a special presentation of “All You Need is Love” by the Beatles and “Happy Birthday To You, Dear Buddha” during the Hanamatsuri luncheon in the Sangha Hall following service.
A special thank you to Aly Olivera for coordinating the Dharma School displays, Cheryl Shay, Mari Ueda-Tao and Barry Tao for coordinating the luncheon, and the BWA for generously providing the cake for dessert!
