No Dharma School on April 27
There will be no Dharma School classes on Sunday, April 27 due to the Federation of Dharma School Teachers’ Leagues (FDSTL) Conference at Gardena Buddhist Church in Los Angeles.
Hanamatsuri
The High School Class hosted “JeoparDharma trivia” during Sunday Service.
Following service during the Hanamatsuri luncheon in the Sangha Hall, the younger classes shared a special presentation of “Buddha Loves You” and “Happy Birthday To You, Dear Buddha”. The Mountain View Buddhist Temple Dharma School taiko group also gave a lively performance.
A special thank you to Aly Olivera and JoAnn Yamani for coordinating the Dharma School displays, Cheryl Shay for coordinating the luncheon, and Mari Ueda-Tao for coordinating the entertainment!
