Thank you to all of the Dharma School families who helped out at Mochitsuki on December 8. It was so nice to see so many helpers and generations of families working together at the special event.

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Frances Sawamura, who inspired and guided the lives of Dharma School students at Mountain View Buddhist Temple for over sixty years as a Dharma School teacher.
She brought energy and light to our Sangha and touched generations of our youth with her generosity, dedication and compassion. We will forever be grateful to Frances, and may our warm memories of her
continue to live on. With bowed heads and hands In Gassho we recite, “Namo Amida Butsu.” Thank you, Frances.
