Maui Wildfire Relief Dana Project
Mahalo to all of the 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Dharma School students, teachers, and families for putting together the Button Sale and Bake Sale on December 3 in support of the Maui fire relief efforts! The donated baked treats were “ono” and the buttons were “uʻi loa!”
In all, $2,340 was raised for the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawai’i’s Maui Wildfire Relief Fund thanks to the generosity of the MVBT Sangha .

Mochi Tsuki and Osoji
Thank you to all of the Dharma School families who helped out at Mochi Tsuki on December 10 and to those who were able to help with Osoji on December 17.
Farewell 2023 – Welcome 2024
As we bid 2023 farewell, let us pause to reflect upon the past year with introspection and gratitude for the causes and conditions — good and bad — that have allowed us to connect, persevere and grow.
