DHARMA SCHOOL SUMMER KICKOFF

We are so grateful to have been able to host the Dharma School Summer Kickoff in the Temple’s parking lot.

Students and families enjoyed an ono BBQ and hot dog dinner, the high school and younger students came together for an impromptu water balloon fight, and then everyone tucked in for “How to Train Your Dragon” under the stars. S’mores around the firepit and warm nachos made the perfect snack!

Special thank you to Ricky Chu, Kelsey Nakano, and family for coordinating the activity, Ken Nakano for being the grillmaster, Deb and Randy Sato for helping to set up the audio and video equipment, and the YBA for all of the heavy lifting.  It was the perfect way to start the summer!
