Sangha Day Picnic
It was wonderful seeing friends enjoying delicious foods and entertaining programs for all ages at the Sangha Day Picnic. It was an enjoyable day! BWA donated sheet cakes for the dessert table.
47th BCA Federation of Buddhist Women’s Association Conference
Our BWA have been attending meetings in preparation for the 47th BCA FBWA Conference to be held at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose in October 2024. There will be a virtual meeting for FBWA Chapter/District Representatives and Ministers on October 21, 2023. It has been a hectic two months preparing for this event.
Monto Shikisho
The sales for the beautiful “Golden Gate Bridge and California Poppy Design” Monto Shikisho from the WBWC/2019 in San Francisco have done very well. We have a limited amount left. They make wonderful gifts at half price of $30.
We thank all those who have purchased them. The proceeds will go to offset the cost of FBWA Conference in San Jose. Anyone interested purchasing the Monto Shikisho can contact Reiko Murakami.
