BWA News – November 2020

WORLD BUDDHIST WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

The Federation of Buddhist Women’s Association (FBWA) held a virtual delegates meeting on Saturday October 10, 2020.  There were 58 in attendance from all the U.S. Districts.  Toshiko Uyehara and I attended from our chapter.  The meeting was held to finalize the World Buddhist Women’s Conference (WBWC), which was held in San Francisco last fall.

Thank you to those that attended the WBWC in San Francisco.  The MVBT BWA truly appreciated your support.  Those that attended the conference will receive a post-conference book, mailed to your home.

The next WBWC will be held in Japan in May 2023 and then South America will host the conference in 2027.
