Coast District Nembutsu Family Conference – Salinas
Representing our MVBT BWA, Diane Durst, Toshiko Uyehara, Alice Ishida and Lillian Terada attended the Coast District Nembutsu Family Conference led by San Luis Obispo Buddhist Temple and hosted at the Buddhist Church of Salinas. Other MVBT attendees included Rev. and Mika Mukojima, Julie Satake Ryu and Emily Terada.
Everyone enjoyed the Dharma Talk “Having Fun with Namo Amida Butsu” by Rev. Naomi Nakano and guest speakers, Rev. Harry Bridge and Rev. Hibiki Murakami.
Our BWA ladies helped with some of the game activities and even won “The Price is Right” grand prize (bragging rights and a picture of a new car).
