Dues & Koromo Fund

1pm-2pm

1pm – 2 p.m.

ABA continues to meet monthly through Zoom. Since we have curtailed our activities this year due to COVID-19, the group decided to donate our ABA annual membership dues to the BCA’s Koromo Fund. The Koromo Fund provides monetary gifts to new BCA ministers for their ministerial robes. At last year’s BCA National Council Meeting, three ministers received funds. When Rev. Mukojima joined BCA, he was a recipient from the Koromo Fund.

Vaccine Shots

Several of our members have received or scheduled their COVID-19 vaccinations. Some have received a single shot, while others already got their second. Anyone interested in receiving their vaccination, and who lives in Santa Clara County, can schedule an appointment through the Health Department:

Yu-Ai Kai Event After Sunday Service

ABA is coordinating an event with Yu-Ai Kai, a senior services agency in San Jose serving primarily the Japanese community. Jane Kawasaki, Board President, will do an informational presentation of the services, programs and classes they offer, followed by a Q&A session. This would be for anyone interested in learning about the resources available there, both seniors and their adult children alike. Please join us on Sunday, March 28, after the regular service to participate.

Our best wishes to the Sangha to remain safe and healthy.

With gassho,
Jean Shimoguchi
ABA President
