MVBT BWA Members Led Many Activities

At the 47th BCA Federated
Buddhist Women’s Association Conference (FBWA) on October 4 – 6, the MVBT BWA led many activities. Some were:

In charge of the Registration by Shirley Matsumoto and Lois Okino;
Card Making and Community Service led by Joan Aoki and Lois Okino and
Chairing the Hospitality Room by Reiko Murakami

Many Temple Members Involved

Many months of planning and BWA working tirelessly with the help of their husbands and MVBT Temple friends led to a wonderful conference.

Our gratitude to Rev. Yushi Mukojima, who had a Japanese Mompo. Also, our gratitude for both Rev. Mukojima and Rev. Devon Matsumoto for participating in the Opening and Closing Services.

MVBT’s own television
personality Michael Inouye was the emcee of the Saturday night banquet and was his usual fantastic self! Entertainment was
provided by The Grateful Crane Ensemble.
