47th BCA FBWA CONFERENCE

The BWA chapters of the Coast District will host the 47th BCA Federation of Buddhist Women’s Associations (FBWA) Conference on October 4 – 6, 2024, at the San Jose DoubleTree Hotel.  It has been six years since this conference was held in person.

JOIN US!

We invite you to join us!  The conference is open to everyone and all BWA and non-BWA members are encouraged and welcome to attend.  The Coast District (CD) BWA Chapters (Mountain View BWA, San Jose Buddhist Church Betsuin BWA and San Luis Obispo Buddhist Temple BWA) are working hard to present a wonderful and meaningful experience for our attendees.

The theme of the conference is “Ichi Go Ichi E” meaning “Each precious moment, a precious treasure.”  The conference includes two keynote speakers:  former Hawaii Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa and Reverend Yukiko Moyotoshi.  The conference will have a variety of fun and meaningful workshops and a Saturday night banquet.  Attendees can attend the entire conference, or attend the Saturday night banquet only.
