Eitaikyo Service
The Eitaikyo Service was held on Sunday, November 17, 2024. The guest speaker was Rev. Ken Fujimoto, a retired BCA minister. The Eitaikyo Service is a time when we remember all those whose contributions to our Temple in the past that allow us to continue to hear the Dharma today.
Keiro Kai Lunchion
Following the Eitaikyo Service, the Mountain View Buddhist Temple celebrated and thanked all of our 2024 Keiro for their support and guidance over the many years.
Our program included celebrating our Centenarians Masao Tanouye, Sachiyo Sasaki and Naomi Higaki (who could not attend).
This year’s entertainment showcased our Dharma School students singing “Mahalo” and “Lion Sleeps Tonight” to our Keiro. Directed by Cheryl Shay. So cute.
A big Thank You to everyone who helped with this year’s Keiro-kai Luncheon. We couldn’t have done it without you.
